Tornado Watch to our west

SPC has issued a tornado watch for?southeast Arkansas, northwest Mississippi, northern Louisiana, and eastern Texas (the red box parallelogram).? The line of storms ahead of the cold front is moving into that region, and damaging winds are possible.? Tornado threat looks small,?but there could be some spin-up tornadoes along the line.

As the storms move into Alabama Sunday, the surface low pressure area and associated upper level disturbance should move further north, decreasing the wind shear and the threat for tornadoes.? Here, expect some heavy rain followed by muh colder temperatures.?
