It?s really crazy to think that we?re in the final days of working for A&E. We?ve had an amazing experience, and though it?s been difficult at times, this is a job we all feel fortunate to have had. After this week, there will be whole new set of A&E staff, and I figured I might as well introduce them. These guys are literally going to kill it, and my descriptions don?t do them justice but ?it will give you an idea of what to expect!
Ryan Baker ? Director
Ryan has been the community outreach intern for Rainy Dawg Radio during the past year and has done a phenomenal job at it. During his time with RDR, he started the Rainy Dawg Rounds that provided an opportunity for UW students to experience music, poetry and visual art in a very intimate way. As director, he also hopes to continue to work more directly with ASUW entities as well as continue our strong relationship with Rainy Dawg Radio. He?s also hoping to do more outreach to the Seattle Arts Community and connect students with opportunities to be more involved in our city?s lively arts culture.
Marika Justad ? Asst. Director?

Marika served as our Programming intern for Fall Quarter and in addition to helping organize the Music Industry Mixer, she?s also worked for multiple venues in booking and coordinating including the Showbox. She?s also worked on film sets and is avid musician herself! Her scope of different types of programming and ideas on how to reach different demographic of students will make her incredibly successful next year.
Evangeline Spracklin ? Films Coordinator

Having worked as a mentor for Reel Grrls and as an independent filmmaker, we have no doubt that Evangline will bring a lot to A&E next year! She has awesome ideas for screenings and hopes to broaden the scope of how students experience films on campus. She?s also hilarious.
Tarik Walmsley ? Concerts Coordinator

Tarik worked as our media intern Fall Quarter, and though he?s been abroad since January, he still has a great understanding of what is music and shows are relevant to students. His broad range of music taste ?means that he also has a great understanding of popular musicians in a variety of genres.
So there you have it! These four are going to be your resources for programming and entertainment. With a new HUB and the incredible ideas we?ve already heard from them, I have no doubt that next year will be amazing!
