The Global Business Travel Association formed GBTA Africa in partnership with the Institute of Travel & Meetings Southern Africa (ITMSA).
The partnership will also feature an event for the energy and resources sector and a joint conference with ITMSA in September 2012. GBTA Africa will also introduce education and training programs from the GBTA Academy to the region.
Starting with 119 ITMSA members, GBTA Africa aims at greatly increasing membership across the region.
?GBTA can offer African travel professionals so much in terms of development and resources," ITMSA?s Chairman Linda Basson said. "We are proud and delighted to be their key regional partner working to develop the association across the region.?
